The lodge will incorporate natural materials such as wood and stone with exposed trusses, slate plinths, tiled floors and upmarket finishes. A river runs through the estate, which will also boast walking trails through indigenous park like surroundings. The benefit of indigenous planting throughout the estate is the attraction of birdlife together with water conservation. Grey water will be used to water the gardens and parks and in an effort to be environmentally friendly, refuse will be split for recycling.
Eastlands will include solar water geysers (panels optional extra). Wherever possible we will be including a passive climatic design from a ventilation point of view.
